The Mapleton Hill Rummage Sale has been an annual Boulder community tradition since 2004, with up to 70+ homes opening up their yards each year to the larger community to roam around our historic, grandmother-tree-lined streets. It’s recycled treasure hunting at its very best, and generates the sweetest community vibe.
I began organizing the sale in 2022 after the initial amazing organizer, Kelly Wyatt, moved out of the neighborhood and the event was going to die because no one else was willing to take it on. So, I took it on! Luckily my awesome neighbor Sandy Briggs joined me on the organizing team in 2024 and we’re working together now to make this wonderful community event better every year.
If you live in the area consider joining us this August to stroll the sweetest streets in Boulder, meet new friends and old, and find some finds. :)
In addition to traditional yard sales you’ll find food (bake sales, lemonade, coffee!), handmade crafts/jewelry/fine art, special fundraiser sales, and even chair massage. I personally just love getting my annual dose of wholesomeness!
