Embodied Dreaming - An Introduction to Authentic Movement with Lindsay Sworski

Authentic Movement is a simple and profound awareness practice that invites us to fully embody our truth in the present moment. First, by entering our sensations and internal landscape, we follow our impulses to let our bodies speak to us and through us, allowing us to access the mysterious source of our living being. Then, through containing our impulses we do a relational form of sitting practice that holds space for the mysterious and precious other to become manifest in our care. By cultivating our capacity to bear witness to ourselves and others without judgment, we strengthen the inner and outer support necessary to blossom into who we really are. Finally, using skillful language, we connect the profundity of our dreaming body with our everyday lives, harvesting unique gems of living wisdom to carry out into the world.

This workshop will introduce the form of Authentic Movement to new practitioners, and provide a space for the initiated to deepen into their practice. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle. Plan to arrive early/on time and stay for the duration of the workshop.
